Famous for hosting the ‘World Championship Hen Races’, and also for being officially the most likely place to be abducted by Aliens in Europe, the Barley Mow is an exciting yet sometimes strange place….
However, we also have some of the most spectacular scenery in the country, and the ‘Best Ales in the Dales’ – having been awarded CAMRA ‘Pub of the Year’ for Matlock and Dales area 2011 as well as being included in the ‘Good Beer Guide 2012′.
